Following their recent sell-out UK tour supporting King King, and their Planet Rock Roadstars UK tour with Broken Witt Rebels, and the recent announcement of their October 2017 tour with The Kentucky Headhunters, Bad Touch are pleased to announce they’ll be undertaking a headline tour in November with special guest Mollie Marriott.

To dovetail their headline November UK Tour, Bad Touch have released the official music video for their new single "Baby Get It On" featuring guest vocals from Mollie Marriott. The single is a cover of Tina Turner’s 1975 classic.

The new Bad Touch single featuring Mollie Marriott will be released on Monday 23rd October as a free MP3 download.

“We’re excited to be taking to the road in November with Mollie” says Bad Touch’s lead singer, Stevie Westwood. Not only is she only a great vocalist in her own right, but she’s also the daughter of the legendary guitarist and singer Steve Marriott (Small Faces, Humble Pie). She’s part of rock royalty. It will be great to have Mollie touring with us. She’s got a killer voice. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

Mollie Marriott, daughter of former Small Faces and Humble Pie singer/guitarist Steve Marriott and step-daughter to singer Joe Brown has spent her music career in the wings, having worked mostly as a backing singer with numerous artists including Oasis and Joe Brown.

Mollie’s sassy soulful blues vocals are full of classic influences. She can find a raw emotional edge that the best soul and rock singers have – at times rootsy and upscale through to modest and classy with a sustained relaxed feel.

Her classic rock and modern sensibilities are irresistible. Her cool seductive style embodies the classic feel of Sheryl Crow, the vulnerability of Stevie Nicks, and the soul of Bonnie Raitt. Her band seamlessly combines dirty guitars with her gravelly bluesy voice, packed full of emotion.

Mollie sang backing vocals at the London Astoria tribute to her late father, where she performed alongside Paul Weller, Zak Starkey and Deborah Bonham. She also performed at Royal Albert Hall with Dean Rees, Steve Ellis and Ronnie Wood as part of Ronnie Lane’s Memorial Concert.

She’s shared the stage with The Who, Mick Hucknall, and Jeff Beck where she sang backing vocals at The Faces 2015 reunion. She sang alongside Robert Plant, Van Morrison, Mark Knopfler and Imelda May at Bill Wyman’s 80th birthday, and she’s also toured with Paul Weller and Wilko Johnson. She is due to release new single “Control” – taken from the forthcoming album “Truth Is A Wolf” – also features Paul Weller that will be released later this year.

Bad Touch – the 5-piece rock band from Norfolk released their second studio album Truth Be Told on Bad Touch Records, with distribution via Cadiz, on Friday 2nd December 2016. The album, which was recorded at Mwnci Studios in Wales, features the single“99%” remixed for radio by the legendary Rolling Stones engineer and co-producer, Chris Kimsey.

“99% is a great song to ride around in cars and drink beer and smoke pot and listen to rock and roll on the radio,” says Chris Kimsey. “Not that I drink beer or smoke pot , but I remember the simplicity of music and life, so it’s good to hear it is alive and kicking with Bad Touch. I heard something that evoked a good time melodic love song. All it needed some re-arranging and mixing to get to the heart of the song.”

Bad Touch’s current album, “Truth Be Told” celebrates classic rock with Southern boogie influences, with heavy guitar riffs and an iron-clad, tight rhythm section, in the great tradition of Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin.

Bad Touch - Biography

Bad Touch originally formed in 2010 when the band members were still in college. In their formative years, they played local pubs and performed covers of some rock classics, and gradually began to compose original material. Over the last few years Bad Touch have started making a name for themselves and built a reputation for their dynamic live shows, making them on of the “must-see” acts at many local venues.

In 2012, the band recorded their first EP at the Leeders Farm Studio – home of local hero’s The Darkness. The desire to get their music to a wider audience eventually led the band performing gigs around the country. In 2012, the band won the Exposure Music Award in 2012 for their live show, followed by an invitation to play Hard Rock Hell for the very first time.

2013 was a great year for the band. They toured the UK with The Quireboys and won the Marshall Ultimate Band Contest. In 2014, they toured with Bonafide, The Electric Boys and Tyketto, and played many festivals including Download, Steelhouse, Legends of Rock and Hard Rock Hell.

In 2015, the band recorded their debut album Half Way Home at Foel Studios. Released on 27th April, the album received rave reviews from the rock press.

2015 was also a great year for touring with the band completing an 18-date UK tour with The Answer as well as UK tours with Tyketto and Snakecharmer. Bad Touch’s live shows garnered them praise and support from fans and critics.

In June 2016, Bad Touch embarked on a UK tour with Jared James Nichols, followed by a UK tour in July supporting the Kentucky Headhunters.

In July 2016, the band recorded their second album “Truth Be Told”, which was eventually released in December of that year to great critical acclaim. In November they embarked on a joint UK tour with the Australian band “Massive”.

The following year, during March and April, Bad Touch toured the UK with Broken Witt Rebels under the Planet Rock Roadstars banner, and followed this with a UK tour in April and May supporting Britain’s award-winning blues rock band King King. During the tour, Planet Rock radio play-listed the band’s single “99%” which was remixed for radio by Chris Kimsey (Rolling Stones, Peter Frampton, Killing Joke, Bad Company).

The have a busy summer ahead of them playing numerous festivals including Ramblin’ Man, Wildfire, Amplified, Cambridge Rock Festival, Weyfest, and many more. The recently announced a UK supporting The Kentucky Headhunters in October 2017.

Bad Touch is comprised of Stevie Westwood (lead vocals), Rob Glendinning (guitar), Daniel Seekings (guitar), Michael Bailey (bass) and George Drewry (drums).

MOLLIE MARRIOTT - Biography

For children of legendary rock stars it can be impossible to match the expectation that follows and the pressure that brings can be too much for many. Having a famous family member has always proven to be either a gift or a curse for many musicians. For too long, Mollie Marriott has spent her music career in the wings, having worked mostly as a backing singer with numerous artists including Oasis and her stepfather Joe Brown.

Despite numerous record deal offers early-on, she felt would frequently be cast as ‘Steve Marriott's daughter’. But now Mollie has taken the brave step to walk out of the shadows and take centre stage, the difference being, now, is she feels she's been allowed to record the album she wants to, and not what a record company thinks she should.

Mollie owns the stage with her live performances and has a warm and charming rapport with her audience. Her sassy soulful blues vocals are full of influences that belie her young years. She can find a raw emotional edge that the best soul and rock singers have – at times rootsy and upscale through to modest and classy with a sustained relaxed feel. Mollie finds a skilful synthesis of classic rock and modern sensibilities that is irresistible. Her cool seductive style has the feel of classic Sheryl Crow tinged with the vulnerability of Stevie Nicks along with a knowing wink to Bonnie Raitt. Her exceptional band seamlessly combining dirty guitars with the purity of Mollies gravelly bluesy voice packed full of emotion clearly coming from the heart with tales of love lost and liberation.

As well as much session work for TV, film and advertising Mollie has appeared onstage as a backing singer at a variety of live shows. She sang at the Astoria London tribute to her late father Steve performing with Paul Weller, Zak Starkey & Deborah Bonham and at The Albert Hall with Dean Rees Steve Ellis and Ronnie Wood as part of the Ronnie lane Memorial Concert.  Over the past year, Mollie has shared the stage with The Who, Mick Huckall, Jeff Beck and providing Backing Vocals for The Faces reunion in 2015. She also shared the stage with Robert Plant, Van Morrison, Mark Knopfler and Imelda May to celebrate Bill Wymans 80th Birthday.

She has also been the Vocal Coach and Creative Consultant for the hit show "All or Nothing", a musical based on the Small Faces (which has just expended its run across the country in Spring 2017).
