Gentlemen's Agreement (1947)
Winner of three Academy Awards®, Gentlemen's Agreement stars Gregory Peck as Phil Green, a journalist who accepts a job to write a series of articles on the scourge of anti-semitism and poses as a Jew to undergo some first hand research.  As the weeks go by, Green experiences discrimination at all levels including the very publishing house he is writing for.

GENE TIERNEY – RELEASED 17th SEPTEMBER (£34.99)

Click for hi-res imageGene Tierney was regarded by 20th Century Fox studio boss Daryl F. Zanuck as, “unquestionably the most beautiful woman in movie history”.  Her striking beauty and undoubted acting ability cemented her status as one of biggest Hollywood stars of the 1940's and 50's.

Thunder Birds (1942) *NEW TO DVD*

He falls in love with local rancher's daughter, Kay Saunders (Gene Tierney) who unfortunately for him has fallen for a young British pilot who suffers from air sickness and heights.

Tobacco Road (1941) *NEW TO DVD*
Adapted from Jack Kirkland's notorious play, Tobacco Road highlights the sordid immorality amongst the poor in-bred white working class of the U.S. depression era.  The plot centres on the eviction of Lester family from their farmstead and features a young Gene Tierney as daughter Ellie May Lester, who controversially falls in love with her brother-in-law.

Laura (1944)
