Due to front man Alan Nimmo having an acute laryngitis, King King have re-scheduled the following four UK tour dates. Existing tickets for re-scheduled shows remain valid -

The tour dovetails the release of King King’s forthcoming single which is taken from their new studio album, and follow up to 2015’s multi-award winning Reaching For The Light. The new album is scheduled for release in early September 2017.

King King’s first-ever live album "King King - Live" was recently voted #1 at Blues Rock Review's "Top 5 Best Live Albums of 2016 Poll".

The live album triumph follows King King’s recent win of five awards at the British Blues Awards including Best Male Vocal (Alan Nimmo), Best Bass Player (Lindsay Coulson), Best Song (Rush Hour), Best Album (Reaching for the Light) and Best Songwriter.  October 2016 saw the release of King King’s first live album "King King Live" which hit the No.1 spot in Amazon’s Best Sellers Blues Chart.

Says King King’s frontman, Alan Nimmo, "We’re really excited to perform the new single live. It’s rockier than our previous material, but it still has an inherent King King sound to it. The new single is a nice taster from the upcoming album."

Having scored three radio hit singles on Planet Rock radio with the songs Crazy, Hurricane, and Rush Hour, the band recently went to Planet Rock’s studios to perform three acoustic tracks that will be aired on the station in early 2017.

In 2015, King King received a nomination for Best New Band at the 2015 Classic Rock Awards, and followed up with a UK arena tour supporting Thunder that was highlighted at a packed concert at London’s Wembley Arena, and, as a result, won them over a raft of new fans.

The band’s 2015 album, Reaching For The Light, was voted #1 album by Blues Rock Review.  In 2014, King King won a total of five 2014 British Blues Awards, including Best Album and Best Band. The nods came from BBC Radio 2 presenter Paul Jones to Classic Rock’s The Blues magazine. Their support slot on John Mayall’s 2014 UK tour pushed the band to another level.

Bad Touch – the 5-piece rock band from Norfolk, who recently supported the Kentucky Headhunters on their critically acclaimed sell-out UK tour, recently released their second studio album Truth Be Told on Bad Touch Records, with distribution via Cadiz, on Friday 2nd December 2016.

To coincide with the new album, the band embarked on a UK co-headline tour on November 19th with the Australian rockers Massive.  They recently announced a March 2017 UK tour with Broken Witt Rebels.

The new album, recorded at Mwnci Studios in Wales, includes the singles 99% and Made To Break, both remixed for radio by Rolling Stones engineer and co-producer, Chris Kimsey.  In early 2017, Made To Break will be released as a single alongside an official music video.

“99% is a great song to ride around in cars and drink beer and smoke pot and listen to rock and roll on the radio,” says Chris Kimsey. “Not that I drink beer or smoke pot , but I remember the simplicity of music and life so it’s good to hear it is alive and kicking with Bad Touch.”

The new album sees Bad Touch celebrating classic rock with Southern boogie influences, backed by heavy guitar riffs and a tight rhythm section in the tradition of Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin.

In 2013 toured the UK with The Quireboys and won the Marshall Ultimate Band Contest. 2014 saw the band step up to become regulars at many venues around the country. Tours with Bonafide, The Electric Boys and Tyketto gave them a great education in performance and this combined with some high profile sets at festivals including Download, Steelhouse, Legends of Rock and Hard Rock Hell.

In 2015 band record their debut album at Foel Studios and the completed Half Way Home. The album was released on 27th April and generated glowing reviews and praise. 2015 was also a great year for touring which saw Bad Touch embark on an 18-date UK tour with The Answer, and also toured the UK with Tyketto and Snakecharmer with their live performances gaining the thumbs up from fans and critics alike.

On 28th December, Bad Touch are interviewed in Classic Rock, and will also be featured in other magazines including Fireworks, Powerplay, Bass Guitar, Guitarist, Rock Society, Blues in Britain and Maverick.
