The lost world of Babylon 5 makes a triumphant return to DVD with the fan-inspired release of Babylon 5: The Lost Tales on 3 September. 

The newest installment of Warner Home Video’s sci-fi classic comes complete with an outstanding range of previously unseen extras which explore the world of Babylon 5 from every angle and make the world created by J. Michael Straczynski more accessible to fans than ever before.

Written and directed by show creator J. Michael Straczynski, this made-for-DVD movie is a spectacular vision of Babylon 5 and New York City in the 23rd century, created using the most innovative filmmaking technology available. 

This includes CGI and green-screen effects which were not available during the filming of the original series’, giving new creative scope to this cult favourite. 

Popular original cast members including Bruce Boxleitner (President John Sheridan), Tracy Scoggins (Captain Elizabeth Lochley) and Peter Woodward (Galen) all feature in this latest addition to the Babylon 5 world.

THE LOST TALES – SYNOPSIS
Times change.  Dangers remain.  On an immense space station built by the Earth Alliance, the crew of Babylon 5 is charged with maintaining the peace among the various alien races by providing a sanctuary where grievances and negotiations can be worked out among duly appointed ambassadors. Babylon 5: The Lost Tales picks up the dramatic series in 2271A.D, ten years after John Sheridan is appointed President of the Interstellar Alliance. 

Sheridan prepares for a fateful Babylon 5 reunion that could prevent Earth's impending doom...if he will also compromise his core principles. Meanwhile, commander Lochley confronts an unexpected interloper - a being whose presence makes the Babylon 5 freeport the crossroads between heaven and hell. In Voices In The Dark, series creator J. Michael Straczynski reunites with stars Bruce Boxleitner and Tracy Scoggins in two richly imagined stories set after the events of the original series.
