Volume One!
It’s no mystery that you’re in for a classic good time!
The Mystery Machine shifts into reverse gear and travels back to the like way cool 1970’s man as Warner Home Video releases the first volume of The Best of The New Scooby-Doo Movies on DVD.
Available to buy from 2nd April 2007 just in time for the Easter holidays, priced £12.99 RRP, Volume 1 contains four quintessentially classic animated treats from the original 1972 broadcast.
But what sets these escapades delightfully and hilariously apart is the marvelous line up of celebrity guest stars!
Forget about The Simpsons, top dog Scooby-Doo was the original pioneer of the celebrity cameo. In The Best of the New Scooby-Doo Movies Volume 1 we see the Dark Knight Batmanand his trusty sidekick Robin, The Three Stooges, Jonathan Winters and Don Knotts all make classic guest appearances.
The New Scooby-Doo Movies followed the original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? TV Series. As Mystery Inc. mania took the world by storm, legends Hanna-Barbera decided to quench fans’ thirsts by complementing the television series with feature length animated treats that had more sophisticated plots and characters.
The first four episodes follow the cowardly canine and his bunch of trusty friends as they solve crimes, get into trouble and perfectly fulfill the role of the “meddling kids” for which they’re so well renowned.
Perfect for the kids or equally anybody who spent all their pocket money on penny chews and enjoys reminiscing about the good old days. The Best of Scooby-Doo Movies Volume 1 will transport you on that precious trip down memory lane or maybe provide the opportunity to prove to your children that “They don’t make them like they used to!”
