Musician/songwriter/rapper Emmanuel Jal has one of the most extraordinary life-stories you'll ever hear, and has incorporated his experiences on Warchild, his brand new album due out May 12, 2008 (Sonic360/ADA Global). Warchild, recorded in London between 2006 and 2007, was mixed and additionally produced by Grammy winner Neal Pogue (Outkast,Talib Kweli,Stevie Wonder, TLC), and produced by UK-based writer/producer Roachie who co-wrote most of the 13 songs with Jal.

"BOO!" is the new studio album from the one and only "Was (Not Was)". The album, their first in 16 years, will be released through Rykodisc on Tuesday 8th April in North America (on 7th April in the UK and Worldwide). 'Boo!' is the band's first studio album since 1992's 'Hello Dad I'm In Jail'. The album features Kris Kristofferson on the track ‘Green Pills In The Dresser’ and Bob Dylan co-wrote the track ‘Mr Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore’. All songs written and produced by Don Was and David Was. Was (Not Was) are playing their second annual Valentine’s Day show at the The Orpheum in Los Angeles on 14th February with special guest stars Kris Kristofferson and Brian Wilson.

Joe Jackson - Rain - Bonus DVD

Joe Jackson's first studio album in four years, "Rain", will now be released by Rykodisc as a two-disc set, including a bonus DVD directed and produced by Julie Gardner, the recording engineer who recorded Joe's last two studio albums. With a running time of over 40 minutes, the DVD will feature recent live performance footage, behind-the-scenes footage and a rare television interview.
