Lou Reed's BERLIN (the Film) Artificial Eye today announced the forthcoming 25th July UK theatrical release of "Lou Reed's Berlin." Directed by Julian Schnabel (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly), "Lou Reed's Berlin" documents the world premiere of "Berlin" when it was originally filmed at the St. Anne's Warehouse, New York City in December 2006. The UK theatrical release follows a month after Lou starts an extensive 200 Berlin European concert tour in Cork, Ireland on 23rd June.
Lou Reed - 2008 UK Tour Lou Reed returns to Europe this June to perform the entirety of his 1973 landmark album Berlin. The European dates will see Reed performing with a 30-piece ensemble including his band, a string and horn section, and a children's choir.
