Northern Kings - "Reborn"

Four of Finland's most successful heavy rock vocalists have recently created a stir by forming an operatic rock super group, who originally went under the working name of Hell Divo. Named as the Northern Kings, this dynamic symphonic rock quartet is welcome alternative to classically trained vocal groups Il Divo and the 3 Tenors.

Lou Reed's BERLIN

Artificial Eye today announced the forthcoming 25th July UK theatrical release of "Lou Reed's Berlin." Directed by Julian Schnabel (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly), "Lou Reed's Berlin" documents the world premiere of "Berlin" when it was originally filmed at the St. Anne's Warehouse, New York City in December 2006. The UK theatrical release follows a month after Lou starts an extensive 200 Berlin European concert tour in Cork, Ireland on 23rd June.

Emmanuel Jal: The Darfur Atrocities

Former Sudanese child soldier turned rapper Emmanuel Jal, who releases his new album 'Warchild' on 12th May, today spoke out about the atrocities in Darfur on what is now the 5th Anniversary of the on-going crisis.

CD RELEASE: Rush Unveil "Snakes & Arrows Live"

Anthem/Atlantic recording group Rush have announced early details of their upcoming new album, "SNAKES & ARROWS LIVE." "SNAKES & ARROWS LIVE" was recorded last October at the Netherlands' Ahoy Rotterdam arena during the renowned rock trio's lengthy world tour. The five month trek celebrated Rush's acclaimed 2007 studio release, "SNAKES & ARROWS," which includes the Grammy Award-nominated track, "Malignant Narcissism."

CD RELEASE: Emmanuel Jal - "Warchild"

Musician/songwriter/rapper Emmanuel Jal has one of the most extraordinary life-stories you'll ever hear, and has incorporated his experiences on Warchild, his brand new album due out May 12, 2008 (Sonic360/ADA Global). Warchild, recorded in London between 2006 and 2007, was mixed and additionally produced by Grammy winner Neal Pogue (Outkast,Talib Kweli,Stevie Wonder, TLC), and produced by UK-based writer/producer Roachie who co-wrote most of the 13 songs with Jal.

Simple Minds - 30th Anniversary UK Tour

One of the most successful bands of their generation; Simple Minds will take a break from the preparations of their new album to celebrate their 30th Anniversary with a series of six rare UK concerts during November and December. The concerts celebrates 30 glorious years dating back to the first time Simple Minds played their very first concert on January 17th at the Satellite City Club in Glasgow, as the support act to Steel Pulse.

Lou Reed - 2008 UK Tour

Lou Reed returns to Europe this June to perform the entirety of his 1973 landmark album Berlin. The European dates will see Reed performing with a 30-piece ensemble including his band, a string and horn section, and a children's choir.

CD Release: Was (Not Was) 'Boo!'

"BOO!" is the new studio album from the one and only "Was (Not Was)". The album, their first in 16 years, will be released through Rykodisc on Tuesday 8th April in North America (on 7th April in the UK and Worldwide). 'Boo!' is the band's first studio album since 1992's 'Hello Dad I'm In Jail'. The album features Kris Kristofferson on the track ‘Green Pills In The Dresser’ and Bob Dylan co-wrote the track ‘Mr Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore’. All songs written and produced by Don Was and David Was. Was (Not Was) are playing their second annual Valentine’s Day show at the The Orpheum in Los Angeles on 14th February with special guest stars Kris Kristofferson and Brian Wilson.

CD Release: 'Recitement'

'Recitement' is a unique CD that combines music with spoken word. The album is composed by Stephen Emmer and produced by Tony Visconti. There are several renowned artists, who collaborated on the CD such as Sylvia Kristel, Kazu Makino and Remco Campert. Lou Reed gives a very special performance in the song 'Passengers'. Holland Centraal was inspired by this piece of music and literature and came up with a concept for a music video.

One Night Only - Eric Burdon & WAR
