The Damn Truth self-titled fourth album is released March 14, 2025. Singer/guitarist Lee-la Baum fronts a gutsy, revved up modern reimagining of classic rock ideals. The new album is produced by Bob Rock (Metallica, Motley Crue, Skid Row, Bon Jovi), and mixed by Rock and Adam Greenholtz (Motley Crue).
First single, “I Just Gotta Let You Know,” charted in the UK and various European stations was #1 Most Active, Indies Chart, Billboard Canada).
The Damn Truth have toured across the US, Canada, Europe; and opened for ZZ Top, Rival Sons, The Cult, Glenn Hughes, The Sheepdogs, Styx, The Glorious Sons, Dorothy, and many more.
TDT have 2 million Spotify streams, 60,000 TikTok followers, 2 million+ YouTube views. Their most streamed song (1 million+) is “Love Is Blindness” (featured in a Yves St Laurent’s perfume commercial).
Previous album, 2021’s Now or Nowhere, exploded in the UK with airplay on over 70 stations plus A-list airplay on Planet Rock, the UK’s most influential rock station (in addition to BBC Radio 2 Rock Show airplay). Reviews and feature stories (Classic Rock, Powerplay, Fireworks etc). All of this without any UK label or distribution.
Their last three singles have hit the Top 40 Active Rock charts Canada. The Damn Truth headlined two sold-out nights at the Corona Theatre, Montreal. Voted #1 Best Band for two years in a row (2023, 2024) by the readers of CultMTL (Montreal’s only alternative newspaper).
A career highlight was being part of Alex Lifeson’s (RUSH) all-star band last year at Massey Hall, Toronto, with Lee-la singing lead vocals.
The Damn Truth headlined a sold-out gig at the legendary Whiskey a Go Go in Los Angeles and played the legendary Legends of Rock Cruise alongside Sammy Hagar and Bad Company. The Damn Truth return to the Legends Of Rock Cruise next February alongside Alice Cooper.
The Damn Truth were the headliner on various UK and European tours over the last four years including Sweden, Denmark, France, Belgium, Germany, and Holland, in addition to being on major festivals in the UK, France, Italy, Holland, Germany, and Romania.
